"The 'lifetime warranty' isn't worth the paper it's written on. We were talked into getting the lifetime warranty for my engagement ring, they talked endlessly about all the value it would give us, the future repairs, cleanings etc - but conveniently failed to mention that we would have to come in every 6 months to have the ring inspected and cleaned, otherwise this would void the warranty!! We never would have purchased it if we had known this idiotic caveat. Would it have killed her to mention this? We don't live close to the store and have been in the stressful process of moving house, so of course we wouldn't have purchased it if we had known that. What an absolute waste of money. Thanks for nothing Michael Hill. We will never ever shop at any of these stores ever again!"

"Really amazing customer service from a lady named Immy. I called prior and let her know everything I wanted and explained I was on a tight time schedule. She got everything in order on the system and was really friendly and easy to communicate with. She was prompt and I walked out of a Michael Hill with what I had intended to purchase unlike my poor experiences at other Michael Hill stores such as Liverpool who have horrible customer service skills. She definitely stood out compared to other employees at her own store also."
