"After our Prius was hit on the driver's front side, by an unknown driver in a car park, and six weeks wait the Insurer sent us to a repairer who said they 'only did scratches' and if we left it there they would 'write it off', treating us like stupid old people. Eventually after lengthy discussions, the Insurers sent us to Western Smash Repairs. Their quote was accepted and they did a great job in less than the estimated time, allaying our fears of losing our car completely like the other 'smart' company. Thank you for your for your superb work and courtesy."
"My insurance uses this repairer - very happy with the quality of work and cleanliness of car on return. Wonderful and friendly staff who went out of their way to sort a few issues on my day of pickup. I highly recommend if needing a repairer in the area."

"DO NOT USE WESTERN SMASH REPAIRS!! TELL YOUR INSURANCE AGENCY TO USE ANYONE ELSE!!! Car was meant to be picked up the 26th of November after being involved in an accident two weeks prior. When we called the day before to confirm pick up time, we were told work had not even begun on the car and they would need the car for another two weeks. When we mentioned the issues that were of a concern to us like the leaking oil from the rear diff, the misalignment of the tub, the drivers side wheels protrude about 20mm whereas the passenger side's wheels were sunken in about 20mm and how the fuel gauge no longer works. We were told it's all wear and tear and not related to the accident. When I objected as everything was fine before the crash, and then was totally stuffed after the crash I was met with the response of "prove it". After several weeks of no car - this is a business car so the company was partially crippled while repairs were underway, only being able to do small jobs not requiring a ladder - we were emailed saying that they were unable to source our LED lights and offered a very sub-par alternative saying "they're the same thing, probably brighter", despite the originals being 8 CREE LED's @ 40w with the replacement offered being 5 LED @ 18w. When we asked about our flashing amber warning lights fitted to the car that were smashed in the crash, we were answered with "there's nothing wrong with the amber lights". I had to send photos of them smashed for them to reply with "we can't repair that, you'll have to fix that yourself". Finally we were told at 4pm on the 11th of December that the car was ready for immediate collection as they need the space in their lot. We told them this was not an option and the original agreement was for pick up on the 14th of December. We received multiple calls and emails harassing us to pick up the car. So we tried to pick it up on the 13th; when we got there, we were then told the car would not be ready for a few hours as they're still working on it. Finally we picked the car up on the 14th, only to discover paint transfer and cracking from the tub hitting the cabin on the passenger side, over-spray on the drivers side, wiring for the lights they refused to fix was all cut short instead of simply unplugging them, instead of replacing the tailgate it appears they tried to bash it out which has left a clear distortion in the reflections of the paint. The car had a noise from the front which got worse as it was driven home. Half way, the oil light came on and by the time it was home the car had a very loud rattle from suspected no oil pressure. We were then told in maybe a week someone will come out to have a look at it. They had the vehicle for over 5 weeks and gave it back worse than original."
