"Just back from a K’gari (Fraser Island) guided walking tour. We had a fabulous trip. The walking itinerary RAW planned for us was so special. Felt so isolated and immersed in nature. From gigantic, ancient trees to the tiniest of mushrooms. We had time for some 4wd fun as well as swimming in the beautiful lakes K’gari has to offer. The food was yum and plentiful and the accomodation was perfect for resting at the end of the day. We were with a small, great bunch of people but there was every opportunity to do our own thing in the evenings should we have chosen to. Our guides were knowledgeable, relaxed, adaptable and very experienced. I will be travelling with RAW again and definitely recommend them as a top provider in this industry. Thanks RAW."

"I have recommended Raw Travel many times since I walked the great Ocean Road with them a few years ago. I booked my NZ holiday with this company and have recently returned. When I arrived I found I was the only walker with Raw Travel, all the other walkers had booked with a different co. I was a little confused as I had had no communication from Raw Travel about this. I then found that I had paid approximately $700 MORE than all the other walkers for exactly the same holiday! I contacted Raw Travel about this and despite lots of emails back and forth I did not feel I gained a real answer as to how this happened. They refunded me $150 which included some meals I had paid myself. Raw Travel have done nothing wrong per se but I will not travel with them again."

"When reflecting in a rather homebound 2021, I nominated my time on the GSWW as one of the highlights. Used to the gentler, greener European landscapes, I was - at times almost literally - blown away by the wild and challenging beauty of the coast. A magical experience, watching seals and gannets, koalas, the odd snake and echidna, coastal flora, stunning rock formations, incredibly blue waters. Congratulations to RAW for their excellent organisation which was much appreciated by the group of congenial hikers. Darryl's transport/food bus, Mark's ever cheerful, enthusiastic support and, above all, Dave's calm, knowledgeable, competent leadership.
