Reviews of Bow Bowing Park
"We love this space. Our backyard opens onto it. But it's disappointing that more hasn't been done for livability. The grass often goes long periods between mowing (or we have to mow it ourselves). The edges are often mowed out of time with the rest of the grass. There is a nice walking track and some exercise equipment but nothing else child appropriate which is a shame as you have a childcare and out of school hours care program next door. There is the neighborhood centre and tennis courts right by the path. It's where everyone goes for their walks. The original plans for Bow Bowing have a park allocated for this space and still nothing has been done almost 30 years later. There is so much space and could easily house BBQ and picnic amenities, a playground and / or water park. There is so much potential but the council does nothing."
"Just a big open field with a small walking track and a few outdoor gym equipments. There's creek crossing so you can walk to Minto station but when there's heavy rain you can't get across. So much more could be done with this areas, its a shame."
"High Quality place for living."
"Why hasn't the council done something about the length of the grass at the Park. I live close by and it's been like this for a long time. Can somebody please do something? This is the councils job - they should do it properly. It is so unsafe - children running around and are oblivious the risk of the possibility of snakes lurking in that tall grass, and dogs - they don't know any better. Please, priorities."
