"Great Venue Marred by Poor Management ⭐️ I genuinely wish I could give True Ninja in Penrith a 5-star review. The venue is fantastic and promises a great time, particularly for children's parties. The staff, notably our wonderful hostess Ebony, go above and beyond to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience. Ebony, in particular, was not only professional but incredibly lovely and accommodating. She took excellent care of our children during our visit, played games with them on the floor, helped them through the obstacles and should we return, I'd specifically request her services again. However, I am compelled to give this venue a 1-star review due to the abhorrent behavior exhibited by the manager, Tania. I was deeply disturbed to witness her public reprimanding and interruption of her staff members, going so far as to confiscate their phones in front of customers, like they were in some form of school punishment. It was beyond unprofessional to witness Tania berating and belittling her staff, particularly our hostess Ebony, in public. I observed no instances of the staff being distracted by their phones; they were hardworking and dedicated in what appears to be a hostile and unappreciative environment. When I expressed my concern about Tania's behavior, she openly complained about her staff to me, treating them as though they were beneath her. This not only shocked me but also caused obvious discomfort and embarrassment to the staff members. The team at True Ninja Penrith deserves better than to be publicly humiliated and treated with such disrespect. Their dedication and hard work in ensuring customers enjoy their time should not be overshadowed by such a disrespectful display of power. I truly hope the higher-ups at True Ninja look into this matter and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. The way staff are treated, especially in front of customers, has a significant impact on the overall customer experience. It was highly unsettling to witness such poor management at what is otherwise an exceptional venue. In spite of this, I will return because my daughter had a fantastic time and the venue itself is indeed great. Yet, I can only hope that upon my next visit, I will see a change in management style, especially towards the hardworking staff."

"Horrible place to have a party! Website states that you get a party host and the birthday child gets a gift pack, none of this is true staff couldn’t be bothered with the party at all no host ever showed up and I had to chase around to get the gift bag. We were told to arrive 15 minutes before the party start time only to be told to wait in a hall way for 35 minutes with no direction from staff, we were finally told to go up stairs to a room. Party started late and yet we were still rushed to have cake and leave even though they had only just brought out the food for the kids. Horrible experience and horrible staff no manger on site was a place ran by teens/ young adults who have no idea what to do or just couldn’t be bothered doing their job! Would not recommend to anyone"

"We enjoy using the facilities during the under fives play time. Lots of fun and good value for money. Was a shame that one of the staff members was having a bad enough day to start swearing his head off in the office loudly enough for my three-year-old son to hear."

"Terrible and the biggest rip off! The big jump didn’t open in the entire two hours we were there, one of the obstacles were closed, no effort was made by staff to make this a fun experience… in fact quite the opposite… boring!!!!! Upon arriving, five minutes into our session the kids were told to leave as their time was up! The floor staff were very confrontational asking me to show my receipt until they noticed a time on the kids wrist band which clearly showed their session had only begun! No apology for the embarrassment… nothing! I was mortified! $140 and really not much different to the local playground! No idea what the floor staff are actually paid for? They just walk around chatting to each other doing nothing? In fact while I was visiting a mother became stuck in the foam pit after having to rescue her own child! The staff were nowhere to be seen and other parents needed to find them for help! Paid for a coffee only to have it spill and leak from the bottom of the cup, toilets were dirty… This place is a huge rip off!!!"
