Reviews of Feng You Dim Sim 逢友点心
"love love love this place! went here at around 2pm (after lunch rush so it wasnt a long wait). meaty prawns, all food were hot when served, the portion size and the taste absolutely worth the price!"
"This is the best yum cha restaurant I have ever had in Sydney, and which has best view. The food is yummy and served very quickly. It is also very friendly to kids, and specially prepares children's tableware. Most importantly, the price is reasonable."
"All in all the yumcha here is pretty good. I highly recommend the cheung fun (rice noodle roll), it's super silky and thin, one of the best left in Sydney now. Also like the Malay steamed cake and the custard bun which is legitimately runny and full of flavour. Not a fan of the hargao. All in all would come just for the cheung fun and will try more things next time."
"This restaurant is really a nice hidden Yumcha in Hurstville. I discovered this place by accident while my usual Yumcha restaurant was closed and I found this place having many good Google reviews. I think this restaurant is like a family restaurant. The service took so long, I waited more than 20mins for tea and the first dish. Then, waited 10mins more for the next dish. Maybe because that day was a holiday so the waiting time was long. Except the waiting time, I love the food here, especially egg tart. Price is quite reasonable."
"After discovering this place over an Instagram reel I felt like I had to do a little research and see what's what. After looking at the pictures it appears that this small dim sum restaurant is true to its Hong Kong roots. An elderly team who looks like they put all their funds together to share their talents and it shows, massively. I have tried a few spots around the CBD but none had really captured what a true dim sum spot means from my perspective. This place is incredible, great value and doubles down on flavour. When you receive your bill please be inclined to tip because you'd be thinking you've been under charged. The food embodies any dim sum restaurant in Mong Kok. Take a trip out of the city and support a small independent business and have some delishous food. Everything has been handmade and with care. Take a look at my pictures and see for yourself."
