Welcome to Vaucluse Kinder Haven, a charming child care centre located on Billong Avenue in Vaucluse, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest in the community, we are dedicated to providing high-quality child care and education for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years.

At Vaucluse Kinder Haven, we prioritize indoor-outdoor play to support calm and peaceful routines for our little ones. Each child has their own portfolio, with individual programs tailored to their unique needs and interests.

Our centre is proud to embrace our multicultural community by preparing food with ingredients sourced directly from our garden. We even have a large vegetable garden that the children have access to, along with our furry friend, Spice the bunny rabbit.

To broaden our children's understanding of the world, we organize various incursions, excursions, and extracurricular activities. We offer music and yoga classes twice a week, as well as weekly Growfit sessions and exciting field trips. In 2019, we established an Intergenerational Program with the local Aged Care, Mark Moran Vaucluse, fostering connections between different generations. All these enriching experiences are included in our fees and available for all age groups.

As part of our commitment to school readiness, our centre also offers a preschool program delivered by an early childhood teacher. We work closely with the local Public School, focusing on language, literacy, numeracy, social skills, and more, to ensure a smooth transition for your child.

We warmly invite families to visit our centre and experience our exceptional facilities. Our doors are always open, and our friendly staff are available to answer any questions you may have. You can also book a centre tour online or opt for a virtual tour if that suits your schedule better.

During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to observe our practices, interact with our educators, explore our rooms and playgrounds, and gather all the information you need to make an informed decision about your child's care.

We understand that starting child care can be a challenging time for both children and parents. That's why we offer Stay and Play sessions to ease the transition and help your child overcome anxieties. Additionally, our centre provides essential items such as sheets and formula, making your daily routine more convenient.

When packing for your child's day at our centre, be sure to include necessary items such as spare outfits, comfort toys or blankets, sun hats, closed-toe shoes, water bottles, and more. Our centre manager can provide a comprehensive list of everything your child may need.

At Kinder Haven, we prioritize the health and well-being of all children. If your child shows signs of an infectious illness, we may request that you make alternative arrangements or pick them up from the centre to maintain a healthy environment for everyone.

To make child care more accessible, families are entitled to 42 absence days per child, per financial year under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), without the need for documentation.
