"Mr Blackman hooked me up with a fresh tube and I’m doing so taught me some lessons on how to do so"
"Shitful service from some round shaped bloke who shared his lack of knowledge and advice. Don't bother with this place."
"I visited Blackman Penrith bike shop once and that would be my last visit. I have to call the shop before I go because I live a bit far. The person on the phone told me, they close at 4:00pm due to holidays and it's fine with me. I arrived the shop at 3:00pm sharp, the door is half closed. When I came in, there were few staff in the counter but the moment they saw me. They shout "get out we are already closed". I was trying to come a bit closer so I can ask if they have the bike parts that I need so I can come back next day. But the staff were very rude and arrogant, like they saw a serial killer. So I get out without saying anything because there is no point asking those people who don’t want to be asked. Their costumer service is very poor. That would be my first and last visit to this bike shop."
"Wow! This place has really changed from when I bought my last bike from here. Just got shown the door as soon as I entered the place. I don't know if it was my red hair or my disability, but I understand what Andrey Lebedev (another reviewer) is talking about. The owner/manager @ penrith store just shoed me out the door like I was some unwanted pest. When I told him about my disability he said he didn't care. When I ask why he was discriminating against me, he replied why I will serve you from outside the front door. When I asked why he was treating me different from anyone else he said he wasn't and that we are all the same. As he rushed me out of the store he had the nerve to ask what I wanted. I was trying to buying 4 bikes for my family to ride together for christmas. He didn't even care when I told him this, so I left. This guy needs to learn the law and kicking someone out of your store simply for having an easily managed disability is not good enough. You should be ashamed of yourself, for your dismissive attitude to anything outside of your little world. After communicating with the people who know, just to make sure I was understanding my rights correctly, I will be lodging a formal complaint with the Human Right Commission. Disability Discrimination, Australia said no a long time ago."
"Had to book for an appointment 2 weeks for bike repair, didn't tell me that I had to arrange the part on my own, as and when I reached there, got told that I needed the part arranged on my own. The service team was pretty rude, I asked him whether I was able to arrange the spare part, will he give me a priority for repair as I had my previous appointment canceled out and my work depended on it, got rudely said no and the guy said that you'll need to wait again for the standard time of 2-3 weeks. Rude staff, never coming again. Ps- after posting this review, received a call from someone in the bike shop and was told that I was lying and to never come to his shop again"
