"We have Qld Silky Oak kitchen cabinets and when we changed our microwave and our oven, the size difference meant we had ugly gaps. Using old timber offcuts I made a new drawer front and a frame. Australian Premier Veneers were able to supply me with large sheets of silky oak which, when stuck on and lacquered looked a perfect match. "Good people to deal with. My order was delayed in the post thanks to Covid and Christmas. Kym however was very helpful - she chased up the parcel with Australia Post, and put aside an additional shipment in case the original shipment was lost. Package eventually arrived in good order, and it was excellent quality wood - even thickness, sequential veneers with square edges and no defects, all cut from a single piece of wood that actually matched photos on their website. "I purchased some sheets of Black Bean veneer for my son recently who had to make a project for school using a material of his choice. He wanted to make a mini skateboard out of wood akin to the well known plastic shop brand, including forming it to shape. After a bit of searching we came across Australian Premier Veneers who were able to provide the material at a very reasonable cost. Kym was very helpful, and despite the small order made sure it was ready when we needed it for free local pick up. The project proved to be a success, whereby after I made the form (quite tricky) my son completed the task of cutting, veneering, shaping, sanding and varnishing the deck before fitting a set of trucks and grip tape (wet n dry paper), see attached photos."
