Reviews of Jie’s Dumpling House
"Fresh dumplings with lots of flavour. Gives you a home cook feeling. The noodle dishes are fantastic. Great for small group, couple of if your dining alone."
"Great value food! amazing flavors. The seating and decor is tiny and cute. Pepper beef was mind blowing."
"Loved it. What a great find in Neutral Bay. For anyone that loves Shanghai food, dumplings and buns, and doesn’t want to travel to Chatswood or cross the bridge, this is perfect. Wonton noodle soup is excellent. Pan fried pork buns are fresh, not too thick and perfectly fried with soup inside. And it’s not at all expensive, particularly for the lower north shore. Service was great. Highly recommended."
"Lovely place, it used to be yasaka also a lovely place. Food is amazing friendly staff we had the Xiao long bao Steamed pork bun Fish fillet in spicey oil and Peking duck roti everything was delicious especially the fish fillet not to spicey but spicey enough, yum. Freindly staff love this place."
"Visit this little gem in Neutral Bay and totally fell in love with it !! Nice cosy ambience with really great AC. Little place with great food and excellent service. The nice cute waitress is awesome and really know how to recommend good food and serving the it with pride. Buddy and I had the steamed pork bun (Xiao Long Bao) and my god this is the best so far fresh and juicy with the sauce actually dripping out with a small bite. We had something new on the Pan Fried Soy Eggplant Dumpling which is rarely to be found elsewhere and they totally nailed it! Taste excellent flavour of eggplant with generous filling. The Chinese Roti is a must try we ordered the Cheese and Mushroom Roti and omg the cheese was so generous with the mushroom been stir fry beforehand. We also ordered the Pork Wonton in Chilli Oil Sauce and surprisingly it is not really spicy but have the blossom flavour of numbness and sweet smelting fragrant. The best wonton so far ever had ! We ordered a main dishes of Fish Fillet in Spicy Chilli Oil and when it came out it looks spicy with the bits of chillies covering the whole bowl but than it’s not really that spicy at all. Besides fish fillet they threw it lots of greens too. We finished up with t he nice cute custard buns. My buddy and I can’t stop talking about this place until now and we defo be going back to try out more on the rest of the dish. Best thing is, the price is so damn reasonable and cheap compare to any other place seeking the same food in the City. This place has become my number 1 restaurant !"
