McDonald's

"I wanted to grab a quick byte to eat 10 minutes before a meeting and I don't usually buy McDonald's. The staff appeared to be hopeless There was a huge queue in the drive through so I went inside and ordered direct of the self service. The team leader just appeared to be standing around waiting for the next drive through order to be ready for him to pass on to the next drive through customer. Meanwhile I am standing around waiting for 4 large fries, and no one has put a basket of chips on. I watch the staff making a chicken burger skimming the chicken fillets around the counter to his mate putting it together. Meanwhile I am standing around waiting for someone to put a basket of chips on and the team leader is standing around chatting with his team mates. In the end I eventually get my chips from a female staff member comes off a break and puts a basket on. At least they were hot and tasted great, but that could have been the hunger sauce."

"Absolutely disgraceful, we were in drive-thru for 15-20minutes maybe longer, to then open our bag after leaving and the nuggets and chips being cold, and the burger that we thought was going to be a triple cheese burger without pickles and with a steamed bun to open it and it be a McChicken burger which again was cold, oh and we ordered 2 apple pies and 1 raspberry custard pie, and when we opened them there was two raspberry custard ones and only one apple, which then started a fight with the children. This would have to be one of the experience we have had at McDonald's Wonthaggi."

"Yesterday afternoon I ordered a large Big Mac meal and my partner got a quarter pounder meal. Our chips were cold but the burgers were ok. This was around 3pm. At 7pm I started feeling really nauseous and not right in the stomach. At 11pm Saliva started pooling in my mouth and I felt like I was going to be sick. I tried to go to the toilet but nothing was happening. I knew the only way I would get through this was if I made myself throw up. I’ll spare you the gorey details. Basically I was spewing out of my mouth and arse between 11pm and 2am. I hope this McDonald’s can review their hygiene and food safety processes so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. "This is the second occasion I have visited with the same sort of service. I ordered for myself and my partner from the touchscreen, took a photo of the order number on the screen as no McDonald's has the receipt printer working ever. Ordered for my parents then sat down. My parents order was ready after some time but the order for my partner and I was taking a while, we were the only people seated and there were no more than two other people that walked in at any one time (their orders were equally slow). I got up and asked at the counter a couple of times and they said it was still on its way. After 45 minutes I went to ask and they said they never had the order (I even showed them the photo of the touchscreen from earlier) I did manage to get a refund only after I described what the order was and they were then able to find it. We had spent an hour here at this point in time. The first time I was here it took a long time but I did get my food. But this is two for two for long waits."

"I found this McDonald's store to be neat tidy and clean. Service was good and polite, and the food was great. The place was nicely situated on a corner block and had lots of greenery around it."
