"My friend and I did not enjoy El Rey Cronulla for a few reasons. We got the set menu for the both of us. Staff rarely came to check on us, we had to persistently wave them down; the meals were cold by the time they reached the table; food was bland and overpriced for the size/taste; a staff member told us there was no desert and we had to clarify that it was on the set menu, the volume of the restaurant was so loud that it was unsettling, and the staff were dressed in casual clothing that made the whole experience feel tacky. Bathrooms were horrific with towels spread across the floor - a few other reviews have said this as well! Would not recommend to others and disappointed as their social media looked really fantastic!!"
"Absolutely filled with a delicious choice with the menu. Enjoy the best cocktails inclusive of the chilli margarita. The surf and rug taco and tuna carpaccio is brilliant. A shout of to the steak too."
"Aus/Mex food has always been predictable but not at Del Rey. Charred Elite, corn with all the trimmings. Chicken Chimmychangas with velvety avocado sauce, yummy Entradas. Tacos birria muy savroso! Margaritas well blended not too sweet or sour! Wait staff friendly and efficient! We will return."
