"The staff are not that friendly you need to be a member to get any good deals."
"Always receive good service here. We were served this particular day by Jarrod who was very hepful and pleasant. Thank you. They have a small selection of zero alcohol wine and perhaps could expand the range. The renovations look great. Well done."
"I am a long term customer of vintage cellars and I have never written a review about a business, but I was just treated very badly and I believe discriminated against because of a lazy eyelid at this store. The staff member claimed that I had had too much to drink (though I had not had a single drink). Thinking that I probably look quite tired I tried to explain that I had just been visiting my mother in hospital, forgetting about my eyelid as it is rarely an issue (except in times of extreme stress). A 3 minute conversation certainly would have cleared up any doubt of my sobriety but I was immediately refused without any question (after the older gentleman lingered on my eyelid). He was incredibly rude and humiliated me in front of other customers, which was also totally unnecessary. I understand that Oxford St is a challenging location, but it is really no excuse when it comes to discriminating against people based on their physiognomy. I am quite concerned for anyone with similar issues of a more permanent nature being treated in that manner, as it was extremely distressing."
"Awful experience. Went to buy a bottle of wine for the evening, I had my 15 year old with me. First they asked for his ID because he was in the shop, fair enough if that is state policy. I asked him to leave the shop. However, I was then refused service because the staff member made a judgment call that I might let my son have some of the wine. This seems wrong on so many levels but mainly what equips this person to make any judgment call? And in doing so make a judgment on my parenting, or anyone else who shops there. For the record it was a $40 bottle of wine. If I was going to let him drink, it wouldn’t be that bottle. General selection of wine isn’t great. Mainstream Brands, nothing interesting. Management - this just happened if you actually want to take action"
"Appalling, the staff are some of the most disrespectful and woefully behaved fools to work in 'Customer service" a term which when used to describe their actions becomes farcical. and to follow When you advertise online that the store hours are until 9pm it is illegal to close earlier. The fact that these 'people' decide to close their doors early so as to give themselves a break is not only wrong in the eyes of the law but it reflects negatively on Vintage cellars as a company particularly when one has made the mistake of choosing to endure the rain for the products you supply. no amount of quality product can make up for Sickeningly foul 'Customer service'"
