Additionally, take advantage of the several walking trails throughout the park to spot the diverse wildlife that calls Cardinia Reservoir home.

If you're planning to bring your furry friend along, dogs on a lead are permitted at Cardinia Reservoir Park. However, please be mindful of the wildlife and refrain from taking your dog along the reservoir walk or on the Kangaroo Viewing Trail.

Reviews
"Nice place to go for a walk and see some kangeroos. I couldn't get as close to the lake as I expected but nice view. The walking paths are difficult to enter during rainy weather. Luckily there is a path near the lake which will always be usable."
"Beautiful park & Picnic ground. Perfect for Family Event & Hiking activity."
"Beautiful walk along the reservoir, it's pet friendly so feel free to bring your furry friends. Plenty of car park but no bins or toilets. Place was clean and tidy but there can be more picnic or BBQ areas to increase tourism."
"Large open area with great walking opportunities. You can walk along the dam wall and get some amazing views. You will always nearly always see kangaroos for some photo opportunities if you look hard enough. Plenty of parking. BBQ's available at the middle and lower carparks. Large kids playground available to keep kids entertained. Very dog friendly area."
"It was so much valuable experience. I won't forget this great nature. Kengaroo and wallabi, koala is here. Before visit, you should remember they are everywhere. When you drive, be careful. You might kill them or break your car."
