Reviews
"This is a review of the coffee in Frankston South: I've been here 4 times now, as it's local, and I really wanted the coffee to be good, but unfortunately it's terrible. 1) It's always bland. Always. Last time, I sent it back and the waitress added an extra shot for extra flavour. It did add extra flavour, but it also increased the acidity and the bitterness. A good coffee, does NOT need a double-shot for it to be flavoursome. Why would anyone pay almost $7 for a hot milk drink? Why? The girl making my coffee would have been 15/16 years old. Now, if you going to charge me an appropriate amount of money for a mediocore coffee made by someone who is under-trained and incompetent, that's okay. But to charge me $6.90 is a farse! Does this explain why your cafe is always empty? On the four occassions I've been there (all at different times of the day), it's been empty. My advice: train your staff on how to make excellent coffee if you want to charge exorbitant prices. Coffee *can be* a cash cow for any business - or it can be one huge disappointment and drive customers away. This coffee shop should could be doing SO much better than it is."
"A lovely little cafe, BUT ... the cafe is nestled in a peaceful area with wonderful table views, but our experience was ruined by a young family whose child was constantly screaming. Whilst appeasing a young family and (perhaps) ensuring a return visit, the owners are possibly losing customers whose experience was marred by the others' total lack of concern for other patrons."
"1st in the area, so I made a quick stop for a long black.. the venue looked really well from the outside.. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but the coffee is amazing.."
"This was my first time here in years, and honestly I won’t be back. I ordered the Holy Guacamole (vegetarian) with no dukka or feta and added a hash brown ($4.50 extra). The order didn’t go through at first, or was lost, which is fine I just waited and waited and was told it would be coming out again and to come in and pay again at the end as I “hadn’t paid”. The food came out and it was vegan, with no hash brown. A very sorry looking $28.97 dish but I was hungry from waiting so I ate it. Then I went inside since the money had already come out of my account, so I definitely had paid, and I didn’t want to pay twice, especially not full price for the amount of food I received. I showed my bank account to show I had paid. The man was nice enough but didn’t give a cash refund for the amount that I had overpaid, or card refund and asked if I could take a gift certificate instead, which I took because honestly was looking forward to getting out of there. To his credit, it is more than what I overpaid for (hence 2 stars) but just not a nice experience overall."
