"Stale hard shell taco… don’t get me started with other dishes.. 18/08/23: They purposely take the sauce away and put it under the counter and was told they ran out.. she was insisting several times that they don’t have any. I told her she should have told me that they ran out before i made my order.. expressed that I don’t eat bland dry tacos and I don’t think I going to pay… I ask the gentlemen next to her about “are you guys seriously out of sauce?!?” she says “yes” then the guy reaches under the counter and pull out full sauces… lady was lying to me the whole time… What kinda ethics is Mad Mex teaching their workers? To lie?"

"Came here at around 1:10pm today and the lady that served me was really nice. I guess she could tell I wasn't too familiar with how to order and so walked me through it. Legit made my day :) bit on the pricier side though, my small burrito meal ended up being around 20 dollars."

"This mad Mex is run by money hungry people. They seem to treat the staff terribly. I had a lovely young man serve me and almost immediately he gets over run by an Indian lady, I can only assume is one of the owners, she ends up asking so many questions I consistently get confused to the point that I just continuously say no to what she is asking and tell her exactly what I want (rice, beans, chicken, medium with lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream). I ordered a naked burrito bowl and that is usually $12.90 when I go to other mad mex’s however it came out to be $19.90, when I questioned the price I was told that I agreed to the extra costs however I was not once notified that there would be extra costs, I’m no lawyer however I am sure that it is illegal to not announce extra costs to a customer especially if I’m definitely not asking or getting anything extra. I truly wish the owners of this store step down and allow for their staff to play the roles they are meant to play in this store, they seem to be doing a lot better job in terms of customer service and seem to consistently put down by their bosses. I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner wasn’t paying them properly either. The staff deserve the world however I won’t be coming back here if that woman is working there. Really disappointed because mad Mex used to be my go to but this experience has really put me off. Do better."

"First and last visit to this shop, undercooked food with small amount of ingredients, witnessed the customer in front being overcharged which they noticed and questioned it, proceeded to pay and was also overcharged myself, Appears to be a frequent occurrence in these reviews. Won’t be returning for overpriced food that you get charged an extra for, I think the overcharging is an intentional act by the woman serving."
