"I made an order and paid extra for a same day delivery because it was my sister's birthday and I wanted her to get the package for her birthday, and when she didn't receive the package I tracked the package in the website and the shipping number I got for my order was a shipping number of an old order from August 16, 2022, so I contacted Gourmet Basket and they told me that the package is missed and they will send a new one, and I told her at the phone that I paid extra for a same day delivery and that she will get me back the extra I paid for a same day delivery and she just ignored me. After all she received the package (a day after her birthday) but I am still not really satisfy from the service."
"I’ve ordered several times from here and again recently this week. Things happen, mistakes are made… we’re all humans. However, I’ve never had a smooth delivery process. Each time I have had to follow up on the day of the delivery to ensure my order has been sent for delivery. Which I find ridiculous to do - should this not be best practice to send out to customers? Again, this week on day of delivered called up to double check and confirm - the lady I spoke to sounded half asleep and robotic (quite painful and frustrating) tried telling me there’s a delay with the order - I paid extra money for priority delivery and gave sufficient time in placing my order. Rather than taking accountability and telling me an internal error has been made she attempted to blame me - no chance! Customer service by their staff is disappointing. When the hamper arrived… gosh, was so underwhelming. $169 for a Gin & Tonic Hamper - was not impressive at all. Again, have given the benefit of doubt several times, won’t be back."
"There must be some kind of problems with the delivery partner Startrack , or Gourmet basket is simply a scam, 2 years ago I sent out 3 gourmet gift baskets none of them got delivered all returned to sender or lost, this year I forgot and ordered a basket to be sent to the doctor at a hospital with very detailed address and number, and again I just got told return to sender, shocking, it seems this delivery partner just never wants to deliver, why none can be delivered ? What’s wrong? Every time always wants to return to sender! Will definitely stay away from Gourmet Basket in the future, can’t believe I forgot this year and ordered through them again and got the same bad experience again."
