"Very quiet. Not lively or buzzing. We had a work function at this venue. We were not told about a lot of important details. Such as it was completely BYO and cash only. Unfortunately the way the everything was dealt with was unprofessional and quite scary. The owner coming out and stopping the music to say she would be calling the police on us because we weren’t paying, which is completely false. Holding my boss in the kitchen not allowing her to feel safe with my other colleagues while we dealt with the issue, reducing her to tears. The photographer was an elderly man who kept forcing himself onto my team mates to get us to pay for our photos, $30 per photo mind you. The meals were small, good size for sharing, but NOT over $80 worth of food, entertainment and drinks. I would have been happy with paying mmmmm maybe $40 and I’m being polite. The singer and music played was fun after we had asked to actually play music but was too much for a venue that was only a third filled. The server was lovely also. Doing her job and polite. Our experience last night was awful and I would highly suggest people wanting to visit. Maybe research a little more before choosing this as your next function venue."
"We had our staff dinner here, but won’t come here again. At the very beginning where we arrived, there was no reception and no one to guide you where to sit. The food was not worth to pay $85 per person, the food is just a very small portion and the chicken skewers were all raw! There was a old man kept taking our photos and tried to sell them, the price is ridiculous ($30 per photo). The management of the place was rude and yelled at us to pay the bill and it’s cash only ( was not disclosed to us)"
"The evening went okay until it was time to pay the bill. The new management of this place is absolutely horrible and reduced me to tears. As I now know it's a cash only establishment. This was not disclosed to me nor was it on their website. When I only had half the amount of my 19 guests in cash, the owner turned off the music (to the whole restaurant, my billing was no concern to the other few guests in attendance) and told me she was calling the police the me. This all occurred whilst I was in the kitchen trying to sort out the bill. No cash register nor reception area to conduct business professionally. No reciept either. I mean seriously in this time and era, what establishment doesn't offer card payment options. Especially when your booking is for 19 people at $85 a head. I felt bullied and humiliated and will never return to this place. There would have been maybe 3 other bookings that evening which is no surprise as the food was average at best. Everything was in small portions, wierd combinations and when the 'main' dish came out, it was a few chicken skewers and the sea food platter, which you pay more for was just prawns and rice. Most definitely not $85 worth per person. It's was BYO which was fine but There was no other options for drinks. No soft drink, juice or coffee. Only water was available. The waiting staff were great and the entertainment also great. The photographer was an old creepy man that kept harassing my group to buy his photos which was not appropriate and made the environment uncomfortable. I honestly hope their business collapses and goes under which is harsh but after the way this lady made me feel, it's appropriate. Never again!"
"I’ve never experienced anything like this before, the lady who claimed to be the owner stopped the music and started yelling at us when we were still eating, asking us to pay her in cash. And there was a man tried to take us photos and asked us to pay for them, $30 for 1 photo. This whole place is just a scam I feel, no respect for the customers, staff were rude, most of the foods were either cold or raw, and tasted like canned foods for such a price. The MC/singer was the only nice thing that happened."
