"Hunky Dory Epping is by far the best location in terms of quality and service. Moonee Ponds and Port Melbourne are also good, however Epping is more local to me as I live in the North. They are always generous with their portions, especially their Greek Salad. The seafood is always cooked perfectly and so tender and juicy. Broadmeadows on the other hand, I find cook the seafood either in burnt butter because it was quite heavy in terms of taste, or over grilled it as it was kind of charred, especially the calamari. Epping however, always present their seafood lightly grilled, never over cooked, lots of herbs and flavour retaining on the seafood itself, and generous toppings with their salads always. Consistency is key when it comes to hospitality, and Hunky Dory Epping, I find are the most consistent with quality and service. Additionally, the size of the restaurant itself is family friendly. Significantly larger and more spacious than most Hunky Dory’s. Parking is also readily available as it’s tied to a shopping centre."

"I come here with my partner every time we want something fresh, delicious, and great value for money! Always incredible food, and we get the same thing each time we go because it's just too good! Highly recommend the grilled fish pack/fish of the day with chips and greek salad. Absolutely one of our fave places to feast, you can thank me later!"

"Always good. Always tasty, generous servings and good service. This is a takeaway we keep coming back to. The salads & rice salads are a great meal option on their own. But favs are the sweet potato chips - we did prefer it when you could get them as wedges! The fried cauliflower, the scallops, fish grilled or fried, calamari, potato cakes, and crab sticks. Fried is an ok option here as they've got the crumbs and batter just right. Highly recommend for takeaway options."

"Very family friendly atmosphere. Spoilt for choice when it comes to seafood. The fish are perfectly fried, accompanied by big portion of chips/fries. Lots of different dips to accommodate different taste buds. Very affordable. Even the burgers are delicious, coming from a fish & chips restaurant. Went twice and wasn't disappointed both times. Came out full bellied and achieved my full stomach satisfaction!"
