The cottage itself is a charming haven, exuding warmth and comfort in every nook and cranny. The attention to detail is remarkable – from the carefully curated decor to the thoughtful amenities provided, it's clear that every element has been thoughtfully considered. It felt like stepping into a storybook, and I instantly felt at ease. Sandy's hospitality was second to none.. she was always available to assist with any questions or recommendations. It's rare to encounter such a dedicated and accommodating host. I can't emphasise enough how wonderful my weekend at Acre of Roses was. It was an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and I left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the experience. "Such a cosy, unique little retreat with a million thoughtful touches. Sandy and Rob have created a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the environment and it's all a short walk from delicious local cafes. The Potting Shed was so beautiful and comfortable and it really feels like they've thought of everything. I strongly recommend a stay here if you love style and comfort."

"Thank you Sandy and Rob for a lovely stay at the Acre of Roses Miner's Cottage. The cottage has amazing amenities. Highlights include the cedar hot tub, wood burning fire place, and well stocked kitchen (with coffee machine, freshly baked bread, croissants, spreads, bacon, eggs, bottle of bubbles and more!). Also conveniently located only a short walk to the main street of Trentham. Would highly recommend Acre of Roses for a relaxing weekend away."

"A wonderful elopement/micro wedding venue! My partner and I had a winter-ish wedding at Acre of Roses this year and could not speak highly enough of the experience. Sandy and Rob answered a small barrage of questions before our weekend and their support and preparation helped everything run smoothly. The team went above and beyond to get the property looking wonderful for our big day, and Sandy even added some lovely foliage arrangements for our wedding space. We were lucky enough to have good weather for an outdoor wedding, but there were also some very nice bad weather alternatives on the property. The hot tub and aromatherapy shower were a great way to relax after all the excitement was over and our guests had gone home. All in all it was a beautiful and private space to get married in and we look forward to returning for our anniversary. The details, like a fresh baked loaf of bread, air purifier, set fires and boutique teas, just make the experience feel all the more cosy and well thought through.
