"Why is there a Vietnamese restaurant hiding in a bowls club? Who knows, but I'm glad it's here. Just found out about this place a few weeks ago and came on the way to the airport and glad we did! The BBH was divine, and so were the other dishes we ordered - Malaysian spring rolls and vermicelli bowl with satay chicken. Would definitely be back again, and have now made it a personal mission to tell anyone who wants a local Viet place to run here!"
"Glenroy Star Restaurant is Glenroy's hidden gem for a warm winter food. We ordered wonton soup, rice paper roll and beef phos. Usually most restaurants have a lousy wonton soup that is either tasteless or full on MSG. The flavour here is balanced and flavourful. The real highlight of this place here is the beef pho. The beef meat is very tender and the soup is really delicious! The owner is very friendly and service is very good. The atmosphere of the place is also good. Don't expect a fine dining atmosphere here, but this place has a charm and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is also well priced and for the quality of the food this is amazing! I highly recommend this place and especially with Melbourne's wintery weather, this is a place I'll be visiting often."
