At Hunky Dory, we pride ourselves on our rich family history and passion for quality seafood. Our founder, Greg, grew up on the water, learning the trade from his Greek father and grandfather on their commercial fishing boat. During school holidays, Greg could be found behind the counter of his family's fish and chip shop, honing his skills and developing a love for seafood.

With a father who was well-known at the Melbourne Fish Market, Greg's family has always been deeply connected to the industry. When Hunky Dory opened its doors in 2004, Greg's family stood by his side, wearing the iconic Hunky Dory t-shirts with pride. In fact, Greg's grandfather continued to rock his Hunky Dory t-shirt in-store until he was 91 years old!

Over the years, our Hunky family has grown, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and support we receive from our customers. Our mission at Hunky Dory has always been to revolutionize the traditional fish and chip experience and give it a healthy twist.
