Now in Australia, he is excited to share his knowledge and passion with our guests, creating simple Italian dishes with a Japanese flourish.

Our owner, Leigh, has a deep love for great food, coffee, and wine, which led him to venture into the hospitality industry. After taking over Cornerstone & Co café in Hampton, Leigh and his wife Jodie discovered their love for Italian cuisine during a memorable honeymoon in Tuscany and the south of Italy. This experience inspired them to open Osteriya, where Leigh's passion for quality food and great people shines through.
