Chemist Warehouse Surry Hills 401 to 407 Cleveland Street, Redfern, New South Wales 2016

"I have been going to this chemist for over a decade and been a loyal customer, even making the effort to travel to it when I moved from the area. Sadly, today when I went I to return a sunscreen product that the lid had broken off when I first went to use it, I was treated very poorly. I purchased the sunscreen approximately 3 weeks ago. I was questioned why I had left it so long to return. ( I'm busy) I was told I had been keeping it in the refrigerator (I actually kept it in the car, so next time i was able to get to the Chemist I would have it with me) I was told initially they would not swap it out. Antonius, who I just met today then said he would contact the manufacturer. I was Ok with this. Then Antonius asked me what I would do if my claim was rejected, so we didn't go backwards and forwards. I said let's see what they say. He then handed me back the broken sunscreen. Our discussion was over. I'm not in the habit of breaking something myself and then returning it. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was treated as if I was trying to rip them off. Over a $16 bottle of sunscreen! I have taken all my prescriptions from Chemist Warehouse Redfern, and will not give them my business again. So disappointing."

"I hate to give one star because this is my local pharmacy that I've been going to for years, but the guy who took my call re my prescription meds for home delivery was exceptionally dumb and rude. Not very helpful at all, even slammed the phone on me. I think this was the same unshaven guy I spoke with, who looked at me sharply, with the abrasive vibe, the last time I was there. You're in the wrong profession bud, try prison warden - or bouncer."

"Very rude guy behind the counter (where they take prescriptions), I asked for alternative against antibiotics ointment, the guy was soooo rude he wouldn’t help me, he shout on me so nasty.."

"I went to the store yesterday evening to ask if I could exchanged one of the perfumes I bought in another store. Firstly, the lady behind the counter was very helpful. She wasn’t sure and she said she’ll asked. But everyone was busy and I told her I’ll wait and I’ll ask myself. I then approached the Pharmacist Ali - an amazing gentleman. He told me it is possible as long as I’ve the receipt and the item is also sold in the store - all ticked. I came back with the item and the receipt and he gladly exchanged the item for me and refunded the price difference - what an excellent customer service delivery and experience. Thank you Ali and kudos."

"They're usually good at keeping the shelves stocked, there have only been a few times when I haven't been able to find what I wanted, but the staff are usually good at letting me know when they will be getting the next lot of stock when that has happened. The pharmacist, can take some time to be served, but once you get served, they're pretty fast getting the medication to you in a reasonable amount of time, if they're not able to, they're able to give you a timeframe so you can go and come back again."
