"Pharmacy staff were friendly and approachable, checkout experience was fine. My only problem was with the security checking person - I had an incredibly rude experience with her. When I left she insisted on bag checking me as well as pocket check which is extremely unusual in Australia, I assume she thought I was a thief. Overall it was quite an uncomfortable experience. I'd hope that in the future she is able to project a calmer disposition, as that would help the shopping experience here as a whole. I asked shop manager to pass my complaint, manager was worse than security guard, she did not even bother apologizing. Manager also admitted usual security guard was away today and new person was just a temp. I checked fair trading and verified that shops cannot ask pocket check even bag check can be refused. In the end I asked refund for my purchase totaling more than 200 AUD. All of the management were rude except checkout person. I will also make official complaint in fair trading for asking pocket search."

"Waiting more than 30 minutes for a script to be filled is annoying. Having been told it was only 10-15 minute wait makes it worse. Having the scripts for other customers who arrived after you addressed before you is just intolerable. And the scripts were not that complicated."

"I was really sick this evening and was unable to make it to a pharmacy. I called Ashfield before closing time to see if I could get medication delivered and it was too late in the evening. The assistant Joseph went above and beyond and offered to deliver my medication at 11pm on a Friday evening. So grateful for this, and how rare nowadays. Thank you a million times over Joseph!"

"would only sell me 1 ventolin, made a big huge deal about it being the law and how they’re defenders of justice etc. literally went to their competitor and they sold me 2 no questions asked. no need to flex your rule following muscles kings, the law says “advised” not “required” so perhaps treat customers with dignity and allow rules to bend hey? cause ultimately at the end of the day, your staunch (and unnecessary) policies are only driving customers away."
