"It's tax time, so this is a reminder that H&R Block (at least in Penrith) are NOT in your best interest. Last year, my $99, 30min consult cost me $180 for no reason, they didn't understand my stock/share situation and filed loses as income, and even when I questioned the gentleman who didn't know, I was told "I know what I am doing. This is my job". I usually get a tax return (as a nurse, a simple calculation without cost deductions had me getting a decent return), however I only received a quarter of what I was expecting. I would have been better doing it myself, for FREE. Save your money and go elsewhere."
"I recently went to H&R block to get my tax returns done. Robert was my tax consultant and he’s done an amazing job. Good and fast service. A little on the pricey side, but I guess the pricing is tiered depending on your deductions & investments. But I do recommend!"
