Reviews
"Worst McDonalds I have ever been to, consistently bad food. I have never had a good meal from here. Issue include soggy burgers/ chips, missing ingredients, horrendous shakes, etc. I will never return to this McDonalds, I live in Gisborne and many people I know feel the same."
"very average, slow service, lots of staffs wanting around, only one counter staff actually was doing her job. McDonald's is dying."
"The staff are trying their best, my issue is the store / district manager, he is awful. He seems to come in once every few months, loves to pretend that he's the one controlling the entire operation day to day. You can't dine in when he is there as he takes up dining spaces in the restaurant (six seats for one man and a laptop? jesus), and is constantly micromanaging employees that are just trying to do their jobs. The "time to lean/time to clean" mentality is toxic at best and extremely uncomfortable to listen to while trying to eat, especially when he repeats it every 2 minutes. Would suggest that he also undergoes further training on how to speak to staff, as it is extremely unprofessional to verbally reprimand your (majority underage) staff in front of customers. I will be avoiding this store when the manager is in."
"Full cream chai latte please. I'm pretty sure that a) it was skim milk and b) it had water in it. Threw most of it out. However they did give them to us quickly (drive through) and also the apple pie McFlurrie was yum. I still dont understand the purpose of the McFlurrie spoons. Why the hollow bit and the hook? I think the chips were last week's. They were foul."
"Overall is okay. The French fries were a bit soggy. Trying out the Summer burgers, I personally like the Chicken Big Mac. Dipping sauce from the nugget order was incomplete. Plenty of seating areas indoor and outdoor."
