About the Business
Welcome to the Huntingtower Performing Arts Centre, located at 77 Waimarie Drive, Mount Waverley, Australia. Our state-of-the-art facility was completed in March 2018 and offers a stunning venue for music, performance, and school assemblies. Designed by Baldasso Cortese Architects, this drum-shaped building creates a visual impact and serves as a prominent feature at the forefront of our school.
With 750 seats, our Performing Arts Centre can accommodate a 120-person choir and a full orchestra, making it the perfect space for large-scale productions. The interiors are meticulously designed to ensure excellent sightlines and acoustics, with high-quality materials and finishes adding to the overall ambiance.
Our students have had the privilege of performing in this exceptional facility, showcasing their talents through concerts, drama performances, and musicals. They have truly appreciated the opportunity to perform in a space of such high calibre.
The Huntingtower PAC is not only a testament to modern architecture but also provides outstanding facilities. From the beautifully presented theatre and concert spaces to the impeccable acoustics and technical fitout, it sets a new standard for performing arts venues. Additionally, the centre includes a small performance space and links to our drama studio, creating a versatile environment for music, drama, learning, and personal development.
We are immensely proud of our PAC, and its excellence has been recognized by industry professionals. It was awarded the Winner of Excellence in Construction of Commercial Building from $10 - $15 million in the Master Builders of Victoria Excellence in Construction Awards 2019. In the MBA National Commercial/Industrial Construction Award $10-20 million 2019, it secured first place. Congratulations to the builders, SJ Higgins, and architects, Baldasso Cortese, for their remarkable achievements.
The Huntingtower Performing Arts Centre is also available for community hire. If you are interested in booking the venue, please fill out our Expression of Interest Form for February-May 2024. Expressions of interest for September-December will open in February 2024. Please note that the PAC is not available for hire in January or from June-August.
