"The good guys smashed 10% off the price for me for a GoPro Hero10 (for Father’s Day) but the customer service girl at JB HiFi said unfortunately we can not provide a better offer than what is already marked. Shame your staff are not trained to negotiate with the customer."

"Mornington store 1:30pm on 10th august committee group - ordered a $60 sqaure reader online. Due to work commitments my husband was listed in the collection contact details. Full name and mobile. My husband received the text message that it was ready to collect and we have the online order confirmation with his details. The store manager wouldn’t hand it to my husband as the order form the store had didn’t have the collection details. He needed a email from the committee member who placed the order despite the collection contact being completed. The manager was not willing to assist in any way. We explained the person who placed the order worked full time in the city and was not contactable (again why my husband was listed to collect) I ended up calling and trying to negotiate with him, I offered to leave my license, card details. I was empathetic that that there is a process and I understand it, however I asked if he could call the digital team or look at the confirmation my husband had but he just kept going on that he can’t hand it over and if it was fake the store would have to write off the $60 (hence why I offered to leave all of my detail) I also explained the reason my husband was collecting it (he works in Mornington) we are all volunteers with full Time jobs and young children - no one could get to the store to collect before it was needed Saturday. Even after I explained this he has no empathy what so ever. I explained i worked in customer service and fully appreciate situations like this however it wasn’t a large purchase, it was under $100 and we had all ID - I said it isn’t my fault that the online order has not come through to your store correctly. My husband was late back to work as a result the male manager not assisting. In the end my husband asked one last time (to a group Of different team members) and showed them once again on his phone the text message he received along with a copy of the online order confirmation we had and they gave it to him ( the manager walk away and didn’t come back to assist) the team members ended up handing it to him. We purchase many things through JB and this has left me very disappointed. I won’t be shopping here again. Neither will the committee of 15 people (local people) I will also be telling many people of this experience. As a manager in customer service not everything is blank and white. Managers need to be able to see the ‘grey’ within the service. That’s why it’s called customer service. I feel this manager needs some much needed training or ever could possibly be in the wrong job."

"Can”t do attitude!!L Horrible experience. Purchased new iPad from JBs, required some basic technical assistance. Don’t bother with this store. Staff member was hiding behind the shelves, reluctant to engage in assistance. Became “huffy” and basically said sort it our yourself. Rude Obtuse Unhelpful."
