"One of the best(or only the good one) Indian grocery stores in Hornsby. All Indian groceries are available in relatively good prices."
"This is a great shop if you're looking for something a little spicey (well, Indian spice palate, anyway). The store has a variety of items including bulk rice, fresh vegetables, frozen/refrigerated stuff, traditional sweets and various accoutrements for your festival needs. There is parking out the front of the store - haven't counted but perhaps 15 car spots. There is on-street parking, too. The store is in a good location and close to the main Hornsby shopping area as well as a few other shops that look like they'd be "fun" to visit. The guys in the shop are very friendly and helpful. The other customers seem to be, too. We asked for some advice how we cook one of the sachets and a nice lady offered some real-world advice on how without requiring a separate spice kitchen! Most of the items have prices on them which is important! Many Indian grocers don't do this and if you don't do a lot of shopping for these items it makes what should be fun trying new things a stressful experience. Who knows how much you're going to pay at the register! Eg. large bag of rice cost ~ half what it would cost in The only reason I haven't given this five-stars is because the shop is an awkward size and little cramped down the isles But it's definitely manageable in there so don't let that put you off. If they took one isle out it would be too spacious and not cost effective which would jack up the price."
"A decent Indian grocery shop in the area. You would get all the grocery items which you might sometimes miss in Wentworthville itself. Prices are ok. There will be few veggies but a lot more variety in the frozen section. They even source the RR biryani house items. Smoke parking in the front else you can park on the street as well."
"You can find fresh vegetables for making Indian dishes. Good selection of frozen foods. On weekends around lunch time, they make Bryani in the back. You can get chai and samosa for snacking too. They offer just about everything (cookware, shampoo, incense, tea, deserts, supplements, variety of grains, spices and snacks, etc.)."
