"Good place to get Dutch food supplies and experience some Dutch culture. The front section is a Dutch food supply store, middle section a cafe and the back section sold Dutch clothes, furniture etc. In general, the whole shop was a little tired and needed a good refresh and redesign to give it a bit more life. The cafe area looked cozy, and we loved the feel of the place. It was difficult to move through the area though as there were too many tables and chairs. The food offered had much to be desired. The apple pie was still cold in the middle and had clearly been frozen. It was great to try a bit of all the dutch food, if you’re ok with snack sizes and not too many frills. The service at the cafe was prompt but lacked warmth."
"Some food items were expired (saw some with expiry dates going back as far as 2021!). Coffee Shop is cute but really need to get eftpos available. Shop is cute and quirky but could do with a clean (quite a lot of dust) and updating. I enjoyed it though."
"Tucked away in the industrial area of Smithfield, if you’re Dutch or a Dutch-fan, you’ll love it here. A shop at the front selling food items, a cafe in the middle selling traditional Dutch food and a miscellaneous shop at the back for clothing, music, sports memorabilia, decorations, furniture and more. The staff are always friendly. The cafe can be busy on weekends but you won’t wait too long. And if you’re after some familiarity of the motherland, the smell of the place is like home."
"A must visit!! Cute little shop takes you on a journey of “ dutch culture “, lots of dutch food and souvenirs to choose from. There is a cafe inside the shop for a taste of classic dutch food. Good tasty food and stunning ambiance."
"I’m giving five stars for the excellent customer service, and huge assortment of Dutch groceries! This shop is HUGE. Great shop and highly recommended. I would kindly suggest a decor update inside as it has a 70’s look but the cafe seating area looks nice. Externally, the building needs a new paint job to rejuvenate the lovely design and I would also suggest replacing the ripped flags flying outside."
