"The taste of home. I recommend their droë worship and spices"
"Best biltong in town. Really friendly staff. Great rewards program. Descent selection of South African food and drinks."
"Neat little South African shop with Biltong for days! They also have a rewards program in store which was a delightful surprise. If you’ve never been before I highly recommend trying Mango Achar, Biltong and (of course) their Boerewors. Definitely check it out if you want a taste of home."
"Having visited most South-African shops in Sydney, I was quite disappointed by this one in particular. First, it's challenging to find, but once you find it, parking is a nightmare. Second, the outlay of the shop is like a convenience store, with a name like Biltong & Boerewors, you can't see either when you walk in. Biltong is kept behind the counter, pre-cut, and a lady scoops it. (Not sure if it is refrigerated ) I honestly could not find any 'Boerewors'. Items in the shop are quite expensive and extensive, but I proceeded to 'try it out'. 1. The Stoney had been tampered with, there were clear signs on heat treatment on the label. Additionally, the use-by date was double stamped. This did not taste like Stoney, It was obviously substituted or expired. I had to throw it out. 2. The koeksisters did not look like koeksisters, but at least it tasted koeksisters. 3. (pre-cut) Biltong was full of tendons and not from good quality meat cuts. Threw it out. 4. Chilli sticks was surprisingly cheap and not nice. I would not recommend this shop if you are looking for a South African experience. Reputable butchers are the only place to buy decent Biltong and Boerewors. The shop seems like it's just ripping people off who are looking for South African goods."
