"Horrible service and pizza, editing this rating because I am not a delivery driver and ordered a pizza deal not too long ago which was undercooked and soggy. The place has gone downhill since the change of ownership at the end of last year. The new owners are rude and don’t care about their customers."

"Ordered two lots of chicken parmigiana and a small Napolitana pizza minus the anchovies. Firstly, the chicken parmas. The serving size was massive. The cut of chicken was definitely 100 percent breast and was cooked nicely, very juicy, soft and tender. It was topped with Virginia ham, tomato passata, mozzarella cheese and finished off with a sprinkle of oregano. The chips that accompanied it were absolutely massive, crispy on the outside and mashed potato like on the inside. They were wonderfully seasoned with what would most likely be their own seasoning that tasted salty yet sweet and had me wanting more. There was also a salad that I forgot to have because I was so full, although it looked very fresh. It was a small serving in one of those round clear containers. Next, the pizza. It was a small Napolitana minus the anchovies. The dough was soft and definitely freshly made. It was very easy to bite through and not too thick and not too thin. I actually very much enjoyed the dough. The toppings were again fresh and high quality. There was no hint of cheaper processed ingredients used here. The pizza had a sweet undertone accompanied with a very slight smoky taste. Definitely from the cooking process rather than flavour. It's hard to get a good hearty traditional pizza these days but this pizza is definitely the exception. I only have one fault however, and that is with the pizza. There needs to be more pizza sauce used and that made the base feel a little dry. I will definitely ask them to add more the next time around. I will still rate this 5 stars as I feel that little problem of adding more sauce to the pizza base is a very easy fix and not really a quality issue. I've only had Smokin Joe's once before and that was from the Melton branch, and dare I say it was the worst food I've experience I have ever had and that made me septical about ordering from Footscray. Not sure if they all have the same owner or are franchised but I'm definitely forgetting about the other locations (which are hit and miss) and treating this one on its own. Definitely ordering from here again. PS, don't use uber or Menulog, it is considerably more expensive than direct from them and hurts their business more than it helps."
