About Parramatta Female Factory Friends
Welcome to Parramatta Female Factory Friends, located at 5 Fleet Street in North Parramatta, Australia. Our institution is not only an establishment and library, but also a point of interest, tourist attraction, and travel agency. Our home onsite is located in the Matron's Quarters and Administration Building, providing a central hub for our activities. We meet every second month on the third Friday, and our researchers are available on Fridays by appointment between 10am and 2pm. If you're interested in researching your family history, simply email us to schedule a session (members receive an hour of research for free).
Parramatta Female Factory Friends has been a registered Not For Profit organization for over a decade and is recognized as a charity by ACNC. We also have a collection of items for sale, which can be found on our website. However, the highlight of our institution is undoubtedly the guided tours of the Parramatta Female Factory.
