Reviews of Royal National Park
"What a fantastic area. So many walks and the views are amazing!!!! It is great to have this so close to the city."
"Hidden Southern Sydney Gem. The entrance to the Figure of Eight Rock Pools. During the Pandemic, the Royal National Park People have been upgrading accessibility to All Who Dare to Venture in the World's First National Park.! The traditional wooden steps have been beautifully replaced by Sydney's Beautiful Sandstone. More long lasting, more robust to at least another Century or two of footwear. Excellent sandstone drainage compliments the big chunky Golden Sydney Sandstone Steps.! Let's Heritage List this Stairway to Burning Palms, Era Beach, Garie Beach. Remember, the Golden Sydney Sandstone Stairs will become Golden Sands of our Southern Sydney Beaches."
"Absolutely beautiful, this place has a beautiful cove beach, sandy beach, BBQ facilities, under cover tables/benches, lots of parking, clean and well maintain restrooms, family friendly, lots of grassy areas, nature trails and not far driving from Ashfield/Sydney."
"Royal National Park is a breathtaking natural wonder located just outside of Sydney, Australia. As one of the world's oldest national parks, it offers visitors an exceptional experience filled with stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and a range of recreational activities. One of the most impressive aspects of Royal National Park is its sheer beauty. The park boasts a stunning coastline that stretches for miles, featuring pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. The scenic views are truly awe-inspiring and provide ample opportunities for photography enthusiasts to capture the perfect shot. The park's diverse flora and fauna are another highlight. The park's facilities and infrastructure are well-maintained, with picnic areas, barbecue facilities, and visitor centers scattered throughout. "Absolutely stunning walks for all skill levels. We went on a day it was raining so there were very few people around. Still great views and the weather didn't stop us from appreciating them. We went to the Wattamolla car park and walked to the beach and the lookout. Will be back for a longer walk when the weather picks up!"
