"Although I didn’t deal directly with stegbar I found them disappointing regarding supply , initially they failed to deliver 1 window , a screen track , lock bolts for my front doors . I then waited 1 month for a service call only to be told by the young man he couldn’t do the lock bolts on the doors as it was a 2 man job and he didn’t have the tools anyway , after going back to the company I ordered the windows thru I am now told it will 6 to 8 weeks for another service call .In the meantime 1 of my doors is locked in place with a piece timber nailed to the floor"

"Absolutely hopeless company, product and service. We ordered over $120,000 of double glazed timber French windows for our custom architect designed home. For a product that cost so much, hopeless doesn’t begin to describe the build quality. Most of them don’t open or close properly, some are sealed shut, some are missing rubber seals, some the windows tilt and fall out of their frame and the timber fly screens have a different design to the colonial bars that we paid so much for. For 6 months our builder has been chasing them to attend to correct these issues - finally they attended yesterday after we were allocated a new company rep. They only fixed a few things and ignored the rest - running away after a few hours of work. Assuming they would be true to their word when they said they would be back early next week to fix the rest ? No such luck, after numerous phone calls they tell us ‘May schedule is full’ and will get back to us when they may attend. Mind you this is to just rectify faults with their own poorly installed product of poor quality that should have been delivered as working in the first place. Stay away from this company, unless you want to sink your money and spend months chasing them for barely workable windows. Major regret with going with Stegbar - wished we had chosen another brand of windows. **ADDITION added: In reponse to the comment below from Stegbar and even though they already have all our details - we have supplied them again. No response thus far."

"The poorest service you can ever get. I ordered a window from them. Then I ordered a window restrictor from the sales. The sales told me lead time is two weeks but after I placed the order, the installation department told me the lead time is about 2 months but doesn't have a fixed date. The sales know nothing but just wanted to make the sale. I tried to call the sales every day but never answered my call or reply my email. Until someone else told me a date that they would come to install the restrictor. The installation was postponed and postponed again. One person came to install the restrictor and realised that it was not a one person quick job (how ridiculous they underestimated their job), and they told me to wait to be rescheduled for another chance. Feel like their sales, scheduling and technician departments are totally independent to each other. This company has no internal system and people have to expect great luck to have their product installed on time. Stegbar has clearly shown how the company be like when the company gives ZERO care to their customer and would take ZERO responsibility for things informed to the customer. Great job!"

"Poor quality product and even worst customer support. Order 5 windows and they arrived late with no explanation , 4 were well below what was promised by the company, the 5th window had paint chips, out of square sliding pain and a dent outer frame. Would not recommend Stegbar especially with so many other better quality and cheaper products on the market. Would NOT recommend this company UPDATE… They are now going to replace all the sashes as they’ve finally admitted that they of unacceptable quality. This has taken three months to get to this point but still waiting for new sashes. Such por product quality and customer support should really be an embarrassment for them."
