"They have a reasonable range of products but charge the maximum price they can get get away with. For example a Alpha 6.5mm Alpha 4 head sds drill bit that I normally pay $14.00 for inc of GST Andrew charges $20.35 inc of GST and 10mm zinc plated 10mm threaded rod he charges $10.80 per 3 metre length and I buy it from Bunnings for $5.90 inclusive of GST. As you can see if you want to pay such high prices then go to Andrew's."
"Don't bother. The never have what you need. Of the times I have been there, I have walked out empty handed every time. Seems only 2 staff work there. One is ALWAYS on the phone and the other dude just walks around without a care in the world. When you finally get asked if you need help, they never have want you want. Dont waste your time here. Go to Southern Fasteners or if you are will travel a bit but get what you want, Tower Fasteners in Marrickville."
"I found Andrew's Fasteners to be an excellent choice when looking for screws, bolts, nuts, drill bits as well as other specialised tools and gadgets. They can also make to order plastic boxes to fit your drawer to tidy up all the bits and pieces. The other thing I liked is that most of the items are loose so you can buy the exact quantity you need instead of other stores that are packed in little plastic bags and are more expensive."

There is a place for everyone . Professionals will not go to Bunnings they will visit industry /trade specific places like Andrews.
