"I have a littany of complaints about Sydney Tools. The business model does not consider customer service important and the staff clearly not trained on what they are selling. 1. Ordered a workbench online that took 6 months to arrive, even though it was in stock and they told me it was awaiting delivery. Repeated calls did not seem to make a difference. 2. I purchased a $250 tool which broke after 2 hours. No replacement in stock. Was told another store had a replacement. Drove over. They didn't have it. Now, two weeks later and I don't have a replacement. 3. Purchased a compressor. Told the staff member my requirements. He sold me one that did not have enough capacity for the job, as I found out later. He clearly had no idea what he was selling. 4. Ordered a $150 grinder blade online. Paid for, never received....i just gave up on calling about it."
"I usually go to Sydney Tools Alexandria but occasionally they don't have the item I want in stock so after Alexandria store rings Five Dock, for me and confirming that they have what I want, I sometimes go there. Same faultless service same helpful advice and above all....nice, knowledgable people. If you're not buying from Sydney Tools at any of their locations, you're probably paying too much and you just might be missing out on some great advice and service. After all five star service is what you want, isn't it? In addition to my previous review..... To all you people who are writing negative reviews......What is your case? I have never had anything but GREAT SERVICE from any of Sydney Tools stores. I am nobody special, just an average bloke needing tools and good service of which I get both. Think about how you approach people, listen to what they have to say and then respectfully and quietly deal with any problems you have.If someone came at you in a confronting way, just think how you would react. No I don't work for this company and no I have no vested interest in writing this review other than being totally truthful."
"I buy tools from sydney tools(makita),when i used machine got problems ,I send back five dock sydney tools for repair, I waited two months,After two months I go to pick up the tools, when I check tools still got problems,the seller told me if i need repair need other two months"
