"The best indian I've had.everytime we hope there the food is very good .tandoori oven selections are particularly good and the peshwari rice is a must. I highly recommend it.Byo and licensed."
"Delighted to find good Indian food in the neighborhood! The food is excellent with a nice variety of dishes from north and south India, and some fusion elements (such as duck). Everything we've tried so far is tasty, and the service is quick and good."
"Delicious Indian food! I just found the atmosphere could be better by turning the brights light off and if the waitress would be more engaging."
"My partner and I came by yesterday. So first off, the interior decoration of Bukhara is very nice and classy. The tables were set well and the impression we've always had walking last Bukhara is a higher end restaurant. So it comes as a surprise that Google Maps indicated this place as a single $ where I feel $$ seems a bit more appropriate. Nevertheless, the place looked stunning and was bustling with activity. There was a slight anomaly in terms of booking since my partner booked a table on Bukhara's website but our names were not on the bookings list. But the host did not turn us away, and led us to a table. The menu was quite comprehensive and we had a bit of a hard time choosing, but we landed on a Rogan Josh, chicken korma, basmati rice and naan. And of course, curries should be eaten with wine, so we had two glasses of reds. The chicken korma was very easy to get into; tender juicy meat, thick curry sauce that's sweet, savoury, and complex, it was truly a delight since meat in curries tend to become dry from overcooking. The Rogan Josh surprised me most since I always find lamb too tough and chewy, but the meat was so tender that it literally fell apart in my mouth. The flavours of the curry was stronger, darker and richer, very well accompanying the taste of lamb. Needless to say, the rice and naan went well with these dishes. While the pricing of the dishes are a little on the higher side, I do feel that these pricings are well worth the experience as the dining service was friendly, accommodating and receptive, and the food you get truly gives you an idea of the care and attention given by chefs who wish to share their culture through cuisine. While personally I feel the spicy level isn't really as spicy as I would like, we truly enjoyed our meal and would love to come back again to try. Perhaps the only thing worth criticising is the booking system, but that in itself may be a technical issue which is commonplace. As such, Bukhara is a strong recommend dine-in option for those who love Indian food and flavours, as it provides a wide array of dishes for your choosing, and they do cater to your level of spice if that is a concern."
"Amount some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Australia. Very tasty and well priced. The restaurant lacks a bit of personality/ambience to top of the dinning experience, however if you’re after quality food at reasonable prices look no further!"
