"This restaurant used to be a popular Chinese restaurant in the neighbourhood as it offered authentic Cantonese food, even some “private kitchen” special dishes. Probably from the start of this year, it has lost a lot of customers to a new Hong Kong style cafe, just a few stores away, which offers more value for money individual set meals and Hong Kong style dishes. It however raises the price to make up for the lost businesses. Consequently, it has become very quiet even over the weekends. Strictly speaking, the food itself is still amazing, but spending $50 to 60 per person (with no drinks) in a dated Chinese restaurant is on the high side. Some dishes are big in size to justify the higher price , but do we want the leftover to bring home? The restaurant owner wife serves as the only waitress on the floor. She tends to talk too much and too long to one table but then overlooks the needs of other customers , despite only 2 to 3 tables in the restaurant."
"The food is not good ! Service is so-so. We were asked whether we want tea or water. We said we want tea. The female owner did not tell us that there is charge of having tea. When we paid, we were charged the tea service with the amount not worth for."

"Highly recommend this amazing authentic Chinese restaurant! Very competitive pricing and delicious food. I've been here a few times and am always impressed with the quality of food. Very generous and large portions; would definitely recommend going here with some friends and sharing a few dishes. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back again!"
"The dry fish fried rice rated 3 of 10. Rice was not fresh and too oily. The porridge was good a 6 of 10 rating. The roast duck on rice was probably the best dish 8 of 10. Skin of the roast duck was crispy and not too fatty. Well done. Service was excellent. Rated by 80yo plus Penang Nyonya Yeoh Sisters."
