"If the parking metres aren't working, come here to pay for your ticket. There is drinkable water on the right side near the pavilion on the side of the building (no signage, water faucet close to the ground)."
"Forty years ago I first walked in the Royal National Park. These days I run photography tours there and have walked the coast and tracks many times. The park kiosk is always worth a visit which I do every time I go. In the last three weeks I have run two tours and one photography class near the kiosk at Audley. Visit but during the week, less people. Go early for the beautiful light and have a coffee outside as you watch the water fowl and parrots."
"Rangers are helpful, cafe provides good food. Otherwise you can picnic there in the pasture facing the river or shelters outside the visitor centre. You can hike the short hiking route nearby or roll a boat on the river. Coots, waterhen and wood ducks are found on the pasture and river. We are lucky enough to see a large lizard on the other side of the river."
"Extremely helpful staff, we were there to do our wedding preshoot and the staff couldn't have recommended more lovely places in the national Park. She also gave us a list of places not to go such as the figure 8 pool because we were unaware that we'd have to hike in our formal attire. The coffee here was also great, bit on the hot side, perhaps to cater to the older clientele."
