"A quaint little park right next to the Great Western Highway and yet surprisingly quiet. A good spot for a break or picnic."
"Stopped for a cuppa ( always take my own) (there is a cafe just down from park to buy)and saw a signboard with info about a zoo that use to be on display in the park Very interesting piece of info but so glad that no longer there based on the representation of enclosures on display Table and bench chairs available as well as is a playground and a toilet block. A nice place for a picnic"
"This is our local park, it has some historical significance as it was once a small zoo and some of the enclosures are still visible. Swings and play area for the kids, tennis court, public toilets. It's actually lovely after fresh snow, at night in the mist when the gas lanterns dimly light through it (for photography).... its not a dog park and is open and right on the GWH but it's not unusual to spot a passing kangaroo and it's a nice addition to a walk through Mount Victoria."
"The park in Mount Victoria is well worth a visit. A picnic out for the day, a great place to meet friends as a half way point on a bigger trip OR a reason to stop and enjoy the most wonderful heritage-listed village of Mount Vic! Grab a coffee, wander the park checking out the historic grottos (they were once a zoo), swings and play area, a free tennis court, stroll through the pretty village to check out the architecture, spring blossoms, great shops, museum, cinema, bushwalks and more. The toilet there is clean and easy access. There is also a wheelchair access toilet (MLAK key access)."
"My friend Gerard Horton and his two corgis Sebastian and Paddington always enjoy time at Mount Victoria this is the place to de-stress and find yourself"
