"Tskujii's niche is pick whatever fresh seafood you want and they will slice it on premises to serve in a gorgeous sashimi platter for you. We chose the tuna and salmon which were so unimaginably soft and delectable to eat. There is toro as well if you're so inclined but be prepared for the higher price point. We also got the torched aburi set to mix it up and the freshness and flavours blew us away. Reminded me so much of Japan and highly recommend it if you want some good quality sushi. The decor is so homey as well. They have other Japanese items on their menu if you are after something warmer to eat. Everything pictured cost $77 between 3 people."
"Surprisingly the hot food pricing is reasonable! Had the beef teriyaki bento, cooked to perfection. Felt satisfying and delicious with the beef. Something different than other beef in terms of texture. IMO my personal favourite place. Well known for its pick and choose different variety of sashimi."
"super great small place for sushi. Love it how your can pick your sashimi from their fridge then pay and they will cut and serve them. Great selection of hot food as well."
"This restaurant used to be our favorite, but since the ownership change, the quality of the food has gone downhill severely. Today, we had the worst rice we've ever tasted. Despite their claim that it was short-grain sushi rice, it was actually just normal medium-grain rice that was extremely dry and flavorless. It's clear that we're not the only ones who have had this experience. To make matters worse, the okonomiyaki was a disaster. It was so soggy that it was beyond imagination. The tempura prawn in the chicken bento box was equally horrible, with a thick coat and a tiny prawn. As for the customer service, it was non-existent. We had booked a table for two people, but were seated right next to the door, which lacked decent lighting. When we requested to switch to a nearby four-person table, the lady told us it wasn't possible because the table was already reserved. However, we later discovered that this was a lie, as two people walked in and were immediately offered that very table. The only decent thing about our meal was the sashimi, which still made a pretty picture. But that's not enough to make up for the disaster that was the rest of our experience. We will not be coming back."
"They don’t serve good quality rice or don’t know how to cook rice .Not enough flavor in miso soup. Sashimi was kind a fresh but every piece has connected . Need a proper knife. The restaurant was good once upon a time when the owner was Japanese."
