"Warning - food poisoning (not kidding) Three of us went for dinner. One person's prawn dumpling seemed "strange/unusual". Hard to be exact about what was "not right" with it. The other prawn dumpings were ok. The person who had the "strange/unusual" prawn dumpling was vomiting 4 hours after ingestion. If you understand food poisoning from seafood, you would know that the effects come 4 hours after ingestion. Perfect timing match for food poisoning. Service friendly and good. Atmosphere good. Sick in bed with poisoning not good."
"The pan fried dumplings, snow mountain pork bbq buns and prawn & chive har gau were good. The Sichuan Dan Dan noodles were not what I expected. Was expecting a thick sesame sauce but it’s more of a mala broth. Not bad but wouldn’t get it again."
"Really delicious food! There are a few vegan options - would be great if there were more. The dumplings were so tasty, the veggies were crunchy and fresh. It was really busy, so the service was a bit slow, but really friendly."
"I’ve got mixed feelings about this place. The dumplings were alright. we’ve tried siew mai, chilli wontons (both chicken though, not pork!..), truffle veggie dumplings and cumin cripsy lamb dumplings. All of them were okay, although not spectacular. Very small portions for the price tag, but all were clearly homemade which is appreciated! Chilli oil wasn’t like normal spicy chilli oil. The chilli on the table was only sriracha which was odd too. We’ve also ordered kung pao chicken - it was so odd! I’ve spend half a year in Beijing and had a fair share of this dish from many different venues. This was like westernised version. Did not enjoy it at all - the chicken was even battered."
"Great value and delicious. Ordered the pepper pork pan fried dumplings (soft and fluffy), prawn soup dumplings (filled with fresh prawns), sweet and sour pork, seafood fried rice and baked chasiu bao. Pretty much everything was delicious though the baked chasiu bao looked a little blonde and would have looked more appealing if it was baked a little longer :)) definitely recommend!"
