Reviews of Yo Loco
"Went on Saturday night as part of a large group. Atmosphere was awesome and the kids loved the play areas. Food was amazing. Can't wait to go back."
"First time ever coming to Yo Loco in Penrith. The staff here are so friendly and kind. I brought my mum with me to have our little mother and daughter date and the food was incredible. It was fresh and hot and the chicken was Nice and tender so were the tacos. Highly recommend this place as it’s also child friendly they have 2 separate playgrounds for the kids and you can have your birthday parties here too."
"A Frustrating Meal with Cold Food and an Overbearing "Manager" at a Mexican Restaurant My recent dining experience at a supposed Mexican restaurant was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was far from welcoming, thanks to the boss, who acted more like a controlling manager than an approachable owner. Let's begin with the food, which was an absolute letdown. We ordered a variety of dishes, expecting the vibrant flavors that Mexican cuisine is known for. However, all our hopes were dashed when the food arrived ice-cold! It was evident that the dishes had been sitting around for quite some time before being served to us. The taste was lackluster, and the cold temperature only made it worse. It felt like we were eating leftovers straight from the fridge. Adding to the frustration, we encountered an issue with allergies. My mother-in-law is allergic to coriander, and we informed the staff about it while placing our orders. To our disbelief, the boss responded callously, claiming that if we came to a Mexican restaurant, we should expect coriander in everything. He even had the audacity to blame us for the problem, saying that his chef had to take it out, and that's why our food wasn't good enough. It was an insensitive and unprofessional response, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. This whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. The cold, uninspiring food combined with the boss's arrogant behavior made the entire meal an unpleasant affair. We had hoped for an authentic Mexican dining experience, but instead, we were met with cold food and a boss who lacked basic empathy and customer service skills. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere and deliciously prepared Mexican cuisine, I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant. There are plenty of other establishments that can offer a much more enjoyable and respectful dining experience. 12:03 pm on 23rd July, I had the pleasure of encountering a remarkable girl manager at the restaurant. Despite the challenges of dealing with cold, poorly prepared food, she took complete ownership of the situation. With a warm smile and genuine sincerity, she personally apologized for the inconvenience we experienced. It was evident that she truly cared about her customers' satisfaction and worked tirelessly to rectify the issue."
"Amazing kids area but that is about it… When we got there the staff were just sitting around while there were so many dirty tables. The margarita I ordered couldn’t have had a drop of tequila in it. Toilets were filthy, toilet roll holders was held together with tape and a disposable spoon."
"My friends and I came here on a Sunday night. It has 2 sections where kids can play from slides to a flying fox and jumping castles. It’s $15 for an hour of play. The place only allowed yo loco grip socks for $4 so we couldn’t use the ones we brought from home. We went for dinner at around 8 but they already turned off some of the appliances but staff were willing to still make us food. Keep in mind, the kitchen closes at 9. I got the churros which were delicious and worth the price. Such a beautiful place and the set up is gorgeous"
