Reviews of Bygone Beautys Treasured Teapot Museum & Tearooms
"I had stumbled upon this hidden gem in my google search. I experienced service from a bygone era that most places are lacking these days. The food was delicious and arrived to the table in a timely manner. I would recommend making a booking as to not be disappointed as this gem rarely had an empty table. They cater for wheelchair users with disabled parking and internal lift. This amazing place is going to be one I visit on a regular basis."
"I've had the high tea here a while back and definitely enjoyed it (and recommend people try it at least once). Teapots up top and teapots on the carpet. It's a teapot kinda day hehe. Today we had the Devonshire Tea for 2 - always a challenge with a young one (but we weren't the only ones with a baby there too). As for the place teapots everywhere - and a museum for those that are interested. There's a young gentleman there that served us last time and was there this time - really nice guy (been there for 8 years I think - incredible loyalty and commitment to the place). Mr Teapot himself was a lovely chap too - hearing him speak about the different teapots really does take you to another place - and was lucky enough to experience that. The scones today were nice. My coffee of choice here is the mocha. They are competing with other places nearby which also do High Tea - but they are in their own league (the service alone in the high tea room does make you feel like you are... Well someone who's made it hehe). Been too long between visits and would like to bring friends here too real soon."
"We stumbled across this place and OMG it blew our minds! It’s the sort of shop that you go into and feel like you are in another world. The service, people, food and of course the tea & teapots were just magical. You won’t regret coming here."
"This is the most amazing tea shop with the best scones I’ve ever had. I was told they were made with love. And you can taste it. The scones are light and fluffy and the tea room is beautiful. Setting is impeccable. Fabulous service too This is a must visit."
"Such a lovely experience and the food, tea and coffee was delicious! Loved the ambience of the place and the old world charm it offered. Recommend a visit even if you choose not to dine or drink tea. For those on a budget wishing to dine, it is on the pricier end of the scale."
