Reviews of The Magician's Cabaret
"Wow! What a hidden gem! I was entertained from the minute I walked into the room! I have seen many shows in Paris and this was equally as good. The dancers were breath taking and the singer was fantastic!! Still trying to get my head around the magic. Blown away! Food was delicious, would highly recommend."
"I came to watch the La Belle Rose show Saturday night. It was incredible. I work in Mental Health and go out when I can just to enjoy something different and disconnect. The show took me on a beautiful journey of song and dance, that felt like something one might see in Paris. The magician was also incredible I was very impressed. Highly recommend."
"The show was fabulous and a beautiful venue, definitely a hidden gem. Would be great to have the sign of the venue placed at the start of the wharf to enable guests to find the venue easier. The drinks menu had no prices and had to keep asking how much, they were horrendously expensive. Majority of the cocktails were $25.00!!! Ended up paying over $150.00 on a bottle of red and 4 cocktails for 2 people!!!! The food was a small serve of mashed potato, some type of stew (not much meat at all) and a couple of vegetables and a small glass of chocolate mouse. Would like a bit more lighting whilst eating, was so dark. Was still hungry when show finished and ended up eating something else at the Casino on the way home. The show itself was fantastic, lots of great laughs, dancing and costumes were wonderful and the magician was a hoot. Was nice to have a photo opportunity with the cast at the end."
"My partner booked tickets for a show without really knowing what it was, and we were unsure of what to expect. Despite having been to a show boat and seeing Cabaret previously, this experience was entirely different. The entertainment was stunning, with exceptional singers and dancers making for an enjoyable and exciting evening. However, the cabaret room itself was quite small and it felt like the show had been set up in a place that wasn't originally intended for it. Unfortunately, we were also instructed not to move our chairs, which seemed a bit ridiculous. The magician who performed during the show was lackluster and outdated, and ended up dampening the excitement. In my opinion, he should consider retiring. While the staff was professional and the host who greeted us at the door in her beautiful top hat was very nice, the prices for cocktails were double what we would expect to pay in an ordinary pub. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves were also quite basic and didn't taste great. The food was another area that could be improved upon. It lacked flavor, and given the price we paid, we had hoped for something better. Even the dessert tasted like something we could buy at a supermarket. However, we were there for the show, not the food, so it didn't ruin our night completely. All in all, it was a great experience, but with a few areas that could be improved upon."
"My partner and I attended last Friday night and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Entertainment was wonderful and enjoyable to watch. Very talented cast. The dinner and atmosphere as-well. The staff were really professional and we were warmly greeted at the door by the host who was wearing a beautiful top hat and she took us to our table. This was a nice touch The location was also fantastic. Right on the harbour and watched the sunset as we enjoyed a cocktail on the outside deck. Would definitely go again."
