"I would give it zero stars if I could. No complains about the products or the fresh produce, they're amazing. It's the people that are the problem. I could notice my mum and I were the only dark skinned people there and we received a lot of stares not only from customers but the staff! The deli worker was absolutely rude and talked down to me as if I did not understand English when I articulated myself perfectly in the conversation with her, even smiled. I saw her serving other white skinned people with way more respect and kindness straight before and after me. The same happened when a staff member who was stocking the shelves almost bumped into me with her giant trolley and I ended up saying sorry because of the awful reaction she gave me as if I came in the way when I was standing and waiting for her to leave the aisle with her trolley. These are just 2 instances of many that my family and I have faced being dark skinned. It's sad to see that this kind of behaviour is still prevalent in such a developed country like Australia. I gave this particular Woolies another chance by shopping there a second time but I received the same reception. I have never returned to this Woolies for my shopping after that and I never will."
