"I’m not expecting great service, just a job done right. My pedi was painful, technician cut my cuticles so close that I had a few bleeding toes afterward (which was swollen and sore for a few days). Staff were indifferent when I raised it. It’s also not nice to speak about me or other patrons, especially when I can understand everything you say… Honestly, not worth it - just go elsewhere"

"I have had overall good experiences with this salon until today. Today I came in for a shellac pedicure and the nail tech cut two of my toes and didn’t acknowledge this until I pointed it out. She expected me to put my bleeding toes in the basin and continue on with the service. It wasn’t until I pointed it out that I received a casual apology and the owner then put antiseptic on my toes. I cut the service short and was not charged (this is the absolute bare minimum for what happened today) and was treated disrespectfully when I said I didn’t understand what happened. The owner said "It was a mistake and mistakes happen, we don’t want to cut you and have you walk out" and while I understand it was a mistake, it was one that I had to point out before i received even a small amount of acknowledgment. There was no responsibility taken before I said something. I now have to monitor my two cuts as cuts from salons can turn into nasty infections, and the fact that I was expected to go ahead with the rest of the service after I was bleeding makes me not trust this place any more. You are all trained beauty therapists and should know how cuts can get easily infected and spread infection. I don’t like having my time wasted and I certainly don’t like when I need to pull responsibility out of someone who has injured me. I would have liked to send this privately however I contacted and asked for an email and there wasn’t one provided, hence the review. If my cuts turn into an infection of any sort I will be in touch with the salon who will be held solely responsible for anything that may come of my injuries."

"Very rude, do not go Lady criticised me and told me off, for not booking and that my minimal mani would take a very long time, but 4 people came in after me without booking. Just a really horrible experience. The Mani wasn't worth it, cheap and pointless"

"I love Bella Beauty Salon. Their nail artists are really expert and my nails always look great. It’s a great local business - an institution of Marrickville! - which welcomes everyone, so it’s a shame to hear a customer complaining loudly while getting their nails done about the young workers speaking Vietnamese to one another. These young women work extremely hard and it would be exhausting having to speak English all day. I’ve never had a problem with it. Staff handled this incident really well and everyone was happy in the end (I hope). Keep up the great work, Bella Beauty Salon, and thank you to all your young nail artists!"

"Went to Bella Beauty for acrylic infill with gel for 4+ years before moving interstate. Always got a great service with Yin and Alice and the team in general. Efficient and good value for money. Would like to see some more creative polish/style options, but overall was always happy with my nails."
