Welcome to Wintringham Hostel – Port Melbourne! Located at 79 Swallow St, Port Melbourne, our hostel offers affordable, high-quality accommodation and care for men and women aged 50 years and over. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, flexible, and caring family-style environment that allows you to maintain your chosen lifestyle, habits, and activities while being as independent as you desire.

At Wintringham Hostel, we believe in minimal rules and respect the rights of our residents to enjoy a drink and smoke, as long as it does not disturb others. Our focus is on promoting independence in everyday activities and offering a structured recreation program tailored to the individual wishes of each resident.

Our beautiful buildings, nestled in landscaped surroundings, have received international acclaim. We have six houses shared between five to seven residents, each with its own lounge and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. When you live here, you will have your own fully-furnished bungalow-style room complete with a personal shower and toilet. All rooms face onto a private verandah, providing you with additional space to relax and enjoy.
